In line with the Presidentās strategy for promotion of football in Kazakhstan, Mikhail Lomtadze became the owner of Jenis Football Club in Astana.
Earlier Mikhail mentioned his plans for creation of a world-class football academy. It was reported today that Jenis FC facilities in Astana will host the academy where young talents will be able to train free of charge in accordance with the international standards.
Mikhail Lomtadze, http://Kaspi.kz CEO and co-founder:
āI have a dream of creating a world-class professional football academy in Kazakhstan and England for the most gifted young players, the future stars. Tuition will be completely free. Young athletes will have a chance to train with the leading experts in Kazakhstan and England, the motherland of the game.
Football is the most popular spectator sport, a source of pride in many countries. I believe we shall elevate Kazakhstani football to new heights and raise world-class players with the help of modern technologiesā.
Besides infrastructure, focus areas will include raising the bar of professional football and fostering systematic development of players at all levels.
Aidyn Kozhakhmet, general manager of Jenis Football Club:
āAn investor like Mikhail Lomtadze is a great opportunity for the club. Everyone understands that the future of sport starts with kids, infrastructure and modern methods.
Jenis has a rich history and weāre certain that together we shall be able to restore its former glory and make a contribution to the bright future of Kazakhstani football as a whole.ā
Founded in 1964, Jenis FC is one of the oldest and most decorated clubs in Kazakhstan. Jenis has won the Kazakhstani championship 3 times (2000, 2001, 2006) and National Cup 3 times (2001, 2002 and 2005).
Mikheil, please come to Adams Park this season, all of us would really like to see you.
Me being Pedantic, its FK Zhenis Astana
They finished 6th in the most recent Kazakhstani Premier League and share the Astana Arena (the biggest Stadium in Kazakhstan) with Astana Football Club
I literally just copied the whole tweet, I didnāt amend anything.
to be fair, I havent really fully read it in detail yet, and Iāve been researching the club in question
āYoung athletes will have a chance to train with the leading experts in Kazakhstan and England, the motherland of the gameā
Does that mean some of the Wycombe youth coaches will go to Kazakhstan and assess players?
Away pre-season friendly please

weāre all going on a Kazakhstani Tour!
Although this does screw us in terms of Europe (MAJOR IF) if both FK Zhenis and us make it into say the Conference League because of Ownership rules
He is too busy to care!
They donāt share the Astana arena.
An opportunity for Mike Dodds to get back into a head coaching position?
They dont use that stadium anymore
Surely itās
ŠŠµŅ£ŃŃ ŃŃŃŠ±Š¾Š» ŠŗŠ»ŃŠ±Ń
(If weāre being pedantic,
)
Fair play
He may be too busy but he hasnāt spent millions on us without caring!
Are we part of multi club ownership now?
Yes
Similar to Crystal Palace and Lyon with John Texitor (Before he left)
