The new software comes with a lot of bells and whistles, and not all of them are things we intend to keep.
We plan to operate a fairly stripped back and simple approach, to make the browsing experience as clean and easy as possible.
Please use this thread to raise any feedback or questions you have regarding any on-site feature.
This could be bugs you are experiencing, functions you dislike or find annoying, or potential capabilities you would added.
It would be good when using the “reply” function if it had a more obvious quote of what the original content was that you are replying to. I found in the “away kit” thread, where Floyd was replying to a comment, that it wasn’t that obvious what he was replying to.
I like just thumbs up and no thumbs down. 
Is there a way just to see new posts rather than having to look through each section?

Yes, you have 2 options:
Hey @PBo, if you press the bubble icon (top left) when replying, it will show the full quote. Sorry it is a little more cumbersome than the previous gasroom quoting.
If you are the most immediate response to whatever you are quoting, it also looks like it doesn’t show the quote. I’ll see if I can adjust this.

Hear hear to that. Not sure whether the first line is supposed to be there but at least I got the quote down ok. It’s a steep learning curve for an ancient like me!
I’ve edited out the first line. Let’s hope the rest of the quote remains.
Further Ed. It does but I probably shouldn’t have deleted the line identifying the sender of the post I was commenting on as it’s not clear where the quote ends and my comment begins.
I have just realised that I didn’t get the last few attendance predictions of the old Gasroom 2 for the Shrewsbury game. I know there were a few in the last half hour before the deadline. Is Gasroom 2 completely inaccessible?

Hey Dr Congo, we’re still finding a shedload of weird default features and limits enabled as we go along. I think I’ve removed this now, can you try again?

Many thanks indeed, a screen shot of the end of that thread will do, I remember that the very last post before kick off was after the normal deadline but I will probably ignore that in the circumstances.
Also thanks for all you did running Gasroom 2, @railwaybeth and myself often talk about just how good a football forum it was, and will be. Take care.
