New Look Chairboys Archive Released

https://chairboysarchive.com/ has been updated and thoroughly modernised and it looks fantastic. It now works on a mobile, just make sure you have Desktop Layout disabled.

This is what Phil Ball has to say about it.

"I have great pleasure in announcing the release of the new release of my Chairboys Archive Website. (www.chairboysarchive.com)

The old version was using relatively old methodologies, whereas the new version is much more modern in both appearance and background technology.

I cannot claim the credit for the design of the new version, this must all go to my son Joe who thought that my old version looked dated, and set himself the challenge of replacing it with something far superior, and I think you will agree that he has certainly achieved that.

Additionally, the old version really did not work on a Mobile Phone, whereas the new one looks great.

Please take a look and give me feedback. (There is a Contact option).

Please tell all of the fans you know to take a look, and any advertising via Social Media would be much appreciated.

Great work by Phil. A huge improvement on the old site.

He has a brilliant collection of Wanderers material, both physical and digital.

Amazing work! Thank you.

An outstanding piece of work! It’s just brilliant.

Just read the match report from my first ever game…

“[wycombe] had more of the play and looked the better side….but once again there was a lack of that killer instinct”

“[opponents] scored first… such a simple goal… [goalkeeper] dived and the ball went under his body…”

“… inside forwards looked lethargic at times…”

60 years ago but could have been any game this season (well apart from the ones we were clearly not the better side!)

Outstanding!

I hope the mods can pin this in a suitable place, so everyone gets the chance to see what an amazing job has been done.

A fantastic resource, which would be the envy of many a football club I suspect.

Absolutely amazing well done, Phil. That’s the long winter nights taken care of.
Spotted a picture of myself in the crowd at the gasworks end in 1972 when I had Hair. Of course 54 years of watching Wycombe Wanderers has made me lose 99% of it.

This restores crumbling faith in the Internet. Bravo, and thank you.

This is brilliant work from Phil and his son, and it looks so much better than the previous incarnations. I can’t believe that there are many, if any football club archive sites as good as this one. Serves the essential purpose of keeping us in touch with our long history, which without this site we would struggle to do these days.
