Bearing in mind that Luton have the fifth biggest wage budget in the Championship, it would be incredible if they managed to go down. However at least Blooms would be more or less guaranteed to do a Birmingham next season.
It’s seems likely to me @Bayo, that the size of Luton’s wage bill is a hangover from their time in the PL rather than a reflection of the quality of the players.
Gaz has overseen 4 draws in 4 games so far at Gillingham and overall they have drawn their last 6 matches in a row!!
Those two free kicks from Declan Rice were absolutely outstanding.
Looks like Couhig is finally about to get his hands on Reading
He’ll take them over and then we’ll play them in the play-offs. Who scripts this stuff?
This could all end brilliantly if Couhig sues the EFL over Wrexham’s refereeing, they get deducted 10 points and we go up.
If Couhig takes over Reading, can you imagine the love-hate relationship the fans have had and will continue to have?
Bearwood = hate to the point of bedsheets
Initial takeover = love
Stopping sale = hate
Takeover for real = love
Find out about the fireworks = hate
Realize they win whenever fireworks are scheduled = love
Etc., etc.
I can not wait to get on the Gasroom after we lose to Reading and point out that beating us is such a big deal they scheduled a fireworks display.
But will their parking ever sell out?
Been having a mooch around the EFL forums and happened across Bolton today. Thought I’d have a gander on Morley, and they’re concerned he’s one of the few players they don’t want to lose (obviously) but will attract a fee. Well from the one thread I read before I got bored.
We can only assume, if we did go up, and Bolton didn’t, that with us offering a trivial loan extension fee to BW in December, and them declining, which was likely pressure from MB, but not buying him, likely a data decision from DR, that the chance of taking Morley with us is slim to none?
I feel the same about Bradley, certain players just look like they’ve been Wycombe players all their life, and Morley was one of them.
Forest v Everton feels like a Gasroom derby.
Rotherham lead at Stockport 0-1.
Morley stretchered off
Ainsworth has been quite the draw for Gillingham so far!
League Two is insane this season. The champions can already finish with no more than 88 points, whereas we could come 3rd in L1 with over 90!
Luton losing at home to ten men isn’t helping MB very much.
@Shev Walsall were clear by 12 points at the top of league 2 (I think), then suddenly have blown up and taken only 6 points from the last 10 games!
You thought watching Wycombe was painfully ATM?
