Own Goals

Connor Taylor’s aberration yesterday was arguably the biggest OG blooper, since Graham Pearce’s 35 yard chip, 40 years ago.

I remember Grimmers cock up v Exeter last season, but I’m struggling to remember many other comical own goals that we’ve conceded.

Grant “Count” Basey nodding past his own keeper against Brentford maybe?

Connor Taylor in his 42 apperances for us has scored the same amount of goals that Jamie Carragher did in 508 apperances and he scored 7 own goals during his Premier League and Liverpool career.

He could go onto score 100 own goals and surely never betters (worsens?) that beauty last night.

Taylor hasn’t scored seven own goals.

Didn’t Grimmer score a beauty earlier this season?

Don’t think anyone said he had?

Although that one last night should count as 7 it was so inexplicable.

capped 22 times for England

and he made these clangers.

One of then posts above reads as though Taylor has 7 own goals for us, matching the number Carragher scored in 500+ games.

Ah I read it as the fella had meant it (same amount of goals in the right end as Carragher) but can see how others could read it differently.

The Forest bods on here must have a clip of the Terry Wilson OG against Sheffield Wednesday?

Duberry got one in the 6-0 at Huddersfield. Highlights on the excellent Chairboys Archive if you can bear to revisit it: Huddersfield Town · 14 November 2009 | Chairboys Archive

I vaguely remember a Chris Vinnicombe own goal at AP in a relegation season?
