We’re in the bloody play-offs! Let’s start acting like it. COYB
Just a heads up on public transport if it goes to penalties (you never know). The last train back to Wycombe is 22.52 and that might be an issue as there will be over 25,000 fans there with probably a fair few getting there by train and the trains are not that frequent and the station not big.
Per @Ohandybaird’s point, you can get the bus back to Greenwich North and get the Jubilee line from there rather than using the national rail station.
The excitement. I can hardly stand feel it.
We parked the bus and got humiliated 0-4. We need to bulldoze our way through the home leg. I’m going 3-4-3…

Memories of fans trying to get home after the Wimbledon replay - I seem to remember they ended up putting a couple of unscheduled extra trains on to prevent thousands of Wycombe supporters having to sleep at Marylebone station. Let’s hope the mood on the platform is as frazzled and exuberant as it was that night.
That was some night. I’d abandoned my Megabus booking back up north and just got swept back to Wycombe amongst the euphoria. Thinking of sleeping by the Thames next week. Weather is pleasant after all
Genuine question..how long does et and pens take?
I reckon the earliest you would leave The Valley after ET and pens would be 10.40. Last train back to Wycombe from Marylebone is just after midnight
If you got the 2305 from Charlton to London Bridge you’d easily make last train to Wycombe.
I’d have thought a taxi to North Greenwich would be the safest bet if it went to ET/pens.
There’s only one train after the 23:05 which would get you to Marylebone in time (23:20).
I live in Hazlemere so will probably go from Chalfont and Latimer. Last train is 00.23 from Baker Street which is on the Jubilee line (or 00.29 from Finchley Road).
Takes away the worry of the return journey if that situation happens (and it’s cheaper)
I remember driving from Nottingham to The Valley for our epic win over Les Reed’s XI. Took me two and a half hours to get from South London to the M1 (Blackwall tunnel helpfully down to one lane) and a similar amount of time from there. Got in about 3am.
A great night though - The Valley is special under lights.
I’m starting to remember the win on 19/12/2006 - 1 nil to the Chairboys with an Easter goal. We can do this! #Iwasthere
Feed Jermaine..let them know it’s Easter time
I have to say for the first time since Orient away when I couldn’t sleep, I’m starting to get excited again. No idea why. But time to end the negativity until Sunday evening at 8.30pm I feel!
You love it because you are football supporter
I can’t wait. Shame it’s on a Sunday but it is, what it is.
We know Charlton will be in full voice, they were pretty impressive in the league fixture at AP; but hopefully the crowd will roar our lads on.
Can the media team stop playing “Hey Jude” just before the teams come out, it just gets the away supporters singing even more!
