Player of the season

I’ve gone a bit early with this thread, but who would you go with for player of the season?

Perhaps there’s some recency bias involved here, but I’m leaning towards Caleb Taylor.

Richard Kone has obviously bagged lots of goals and shown a lot of quality, but he’s blown hot and cold throughout the season. Caleb’s been evergreen. I think Humphreys rounds it off to make up the rest of my top three.

Very difficult this year.

Bradley has been superb but played so little games, Morley the same.

For me it has to be between

Taylor
Kone
Humphreys

I think I would give it to Kone who has been superb and the difference in many games

Taylor and Bradley have both been magnificent, but I think Low has been the standout CB across the whole season

Honestly, I would go Morley if it was allowed. As it is probably not…I am going to vote based on the player we miss the most if they are not named in the squad.

Morley first half of the season, Bradley second half, but overall, got to be Humphreys.

Kone only possible vote surely.

But Low, Taylor, Harvie, Morley and Humphreys have to be up there too.

For his all season performances, Humphries.
Kone next, followed by Taylor.
Honourable mentions for Grimmer, Scowen, Low.

Keillor-Dunn and Iwata the other nominees alongside Kone. Seems pretty fair from what I’ve seen.

I’m also leaning towards Taylor.

It has to be between him, Kone & Humphreys.

Morley would have been my pick had he been here all season and continued in the same form.

Harvie also brilliant, and Low deserving of a mention too. Scowen should also get a shout, I think we just expect him to be excellent every season.
