Plymouth Argyle (a) Attendance Prediction - Monday 29th December ‘25 - Match 23 in 25/26

I guess 15,205 with 206 Wycombe fans.

15,678 including 234 Wycombe

Not an attendance figure but related to how small the away crowd will be.

Long time lurker with a question. I notice that as is customary most teams in our league have a match with a vaguely local side Monday night.

So how come Wycombe have been given a match with the furthest ground from them in the whole division.

Exeter other years was ludicrous but Plymouth sounds like someone’s just having a laugh.

It’s strange that Plymouth v Exeter (or vice versa) isn’t a Christmas or New Year fixture and I have no reason why unless the clubs ask for it not to be. Who knows.

However, take that out and who do you suggest is given the away fixture at Plymouth, given they played Reading on Boxing Day? Doncaster maybe - who they played away on 20th December.

Plymouth v Exeter matches are pretty unpleasant and need a lot of policing. Not realistic over public holidays due to resourcing. We have long rather oddly been regarded as a South West club by the computer as are Reading who made the long trip southwest on Boxing Day. As you say there currently aren’t really any other alternatives apart from Cardiff (with its own policing issues).

The fixture computer will be working overtime or the local plod will be next Christmas should the division include us, Oxford, Reading, Luton and Swindon. We’re the least of their worries, thankfully.
