If Island in a stream I’ll report it.
Rogers and out.

Rogers and out.
And you weren’t far out, @eric_plant. But the prize goes to @williwycombe who was within 29.
I’ve given my head a wapping wobble. Never been so out of touch with reality.
Reading contrived to have a couple of hundred more but lost to Carlisle.
I’d rather we narrowly lost 2 1 in the Cup than win the ‘pizza trophy’ as you call it
What?
Mate, the pizza cup aka EFL Trophy was created for clubs exactly like ours.
A chance to go to Wembley and make new fans of the club.
Whilst I do expect us to be a mid-table, sustainable Championship club in a few years, we have to remember where we come from.
May I ask what you mean by sustainable? If you mean a Championship club genuinely earning as much in revenue as it spends in cost, I have to say I don’t think there is a cat in hells chance of that happening. A Championship club with a massive annual subsidy from Lomtadze very possible.
I was referring to our academy
You “expect” it?
That’s quite some expectation!
Are there any sustainable clubs in the Championship?
I’ve no reason to not believe the OG as everything they have said and done has come to fruition bar the bad Dodd’s appointment.
Don’t know. Don’t follow the Championship.
The word ‘sustainable’ does a lot of heavy lifting. The term ‘sustained period in the Championship’ might be more apt in terms of our ambition.
Indeed. There’s nothing sustainable about a billionaire bankrolling his son-in-law’s current interest.
Or indeed, a couple of Hollywood A-listers bankrolling a vanity project …
do you think Rob Couhig would have fulfilled his promise to make us a sustainable Championship club had he remained owner?
I think he’d have got closer than most.
You could never accuse the Couhigs of being frivolous with their spending.
Of course not.
