Didn’t realise we had so many Debbie Downers lurking around. It’s a bit of fun, you get to see behind the scenes, you get a sense of inner warmth from knowing you are helping with the upkeep of a Trust asset, you get a very nice free lunch and as I said you get to meet me and possibly some other Gasroomers…what more do you need?
Oh and you can also ensure that the seat you actually sit on is clean from dust, grime and pigeon poo (unless you are a terrace dweller of course).
Why can’t the players do it? We pay their wages and all that going up and down steps and bending over to clean a seat will help their pre-season fitness.
Aye, but if there were (are?) people who spend hours a day on an online forum about Tesco, planning their visits to new Tescos and reminiscing about past trips to Tesco they would probably love it.
Would be great to have a few more Gasroomers come down, can be full or part of a day, just need to email Nigel at the Trust to register beforehand. Follow the link for all the info.
OK fellow Gasroomers, only one more sleep until the big extravaganza that is (the first of two) Seat Cleaning Day at Adams Park. See my link above but basically be in reception between 9 and 9.30 tomorrow morning and we can get you registered.
So put down that IPA, soy latte or Robinsons barley water, get out of your arm chair and be down at AP in the morning so as not to miss the fun!
Well the first seat cleaning day was a success with the Origin, Family Stand and Box seat all done, and I still have some flexibility in my back today. Frank Adams to do next Tuesday so hopefully I’ll see some of you work shy elbow grease avoiders then…?
