Apparently Stockport County fans returning tickets for our match tomorrow in droves.
At least 60 tickets returned in one day earlier this week.
Wycombe ticket office announcing on Wednesday that less than 100 tickets remain in the Family Stand but way more than that are available to buy this morning on our ticket site.
Should still be our fourth or fifth biggest gate this season.

60 out of a thousand or so isn’t exactly in droves but what do people think is the reason for significant numbers opting out?
Effectively, the game is a dead rubber, IMO. People will save their time and money for the playoffs.

This is on one day, if those numbers are being returned everyday since last weekend then you could have 300+ being returned. They look like they have sold high numbers anyway but I found it interesting that so many were being returned, especially as it might effect the availability of playoff tickets. If they draw Orient away they will probably only get 900 tickets.
Surely tickets once sold are non-refundable ?? Not sure I grasp the concept then of returned tickets.
I have a vague feeling that club counts nonattending season ticket holders but not nonattending day ticket holders (vat issue?) Am I right?
Whatever the status of returned tickets attendance wise, this is à particularly difficult one to predict.
Judging by what I have read lots of Stockport fans have decided not to go after Saturdays results having bought away tickets for the game against us tomorrow.
The Stockport ticket office reportedly busier with refunds/returns than ticket sales earlier this week.
