We are working with the 1887 to get a Gasroom banner knocked up. I wanted to open the floor up for ideas.
They have also set up a shop; any profits from merchandise goes towards more flags, banners etc.

I might be really stupid but what is the 1887 and why was it formed?
They formed to try and improve the match day atmosphere at AP, and do a lot of really great work.

They’re mostly active on twitter. We are hoping to create a dedicated section of the gasroom hub to share more initiatives
A few of them are active on here as well, and can probably advise better on how others can get involved.

Think a thread like this will really help. It’s a collective for all supporters to work on new ideas to drive positive atmosphere and increase and improve how we support the side.
All funding goes towards initiatives - hence why you’ll have seen more flags and banners about over the last couple of seasons.
We aren’t an ultras group or anything like that (the most unWycombe thing if we were) - it’s just a collective banner for fans to drive ways to support the club better.
Great to keep this thread open and get some great ideas from the Gasroom into reality.

Just an idea, could the 1887 group look at organising a WWFC 6-a-side? Maybe advertising it out within the supporter base, use it to raise funds. If it’s done over the early close season (May / June) maybe you could try and get a few players down and teams can bid on having that player in their squad? If it gains enough traction, maybe ask the club if you could have it at Adams Park (John Hampden’s Astro or somewhere similar).
Maybe try and involve the club so they can have a stall or mini club shop selling off all the old things as well as getting people to renew their ST for the next season?

I think I’d prefer the What’s the Story t-shirt if it was a market stall day. Having a line of taxi’s next to Morley just doesn’t give the right impression (but maybe that’s just me)
I mean footballers and taxis dont tend to go well in general, look at West Brom
