If he had had no imput whatsoever in signing players and appointing managers, yes he would be doing a good job.
Steady on Matt, another job will come along soon enough.
Does Dan Rice go to bed every night thinking he’s actually doing a good job?
Does Mikheil Lomtadze look at the results, the league table and his bank balance and ask why has it cost him c. £4m in transfer fees alone to put together a team that has replaced one that was top of the table in less than 12 months?
Given Rice has been “interim” Chairman since 7th June 2024 suggests WWFC is way, way down on the list of Lomtadze’s priorities.

The Kone fee probably makes the actual outlay closer to neutral.
It’s the infrastructure that has the huge costs and it’s still unclear what the plan is there really.

We can’t allow Rice and Stockwell to lead us in to the January transfer window.
Yet again we look weak all over the pitch.
70 minutes gone and not a single shot on target and 0-3 down.
You look at the bench and can’t see a solution to the last 70 minutes.
We are a club in steep decline yet have spent millions on hugely inferior players

Surely can’t get any worse than previous 2 windows? Also with Duff involved we might get some players who are up to the required standards.
Millions spent on sub-standard players and we can’t even name a single striker in the matchday squad today.
