Seeing as though we all have different theories, views, sources of information, lets just collect them on this thread so that we can keep other threads clear to focus on their topic
Thanks
to get to the other side
Is it possible to block a thread?
Oh please, not again
Look, this keeps coming up again and again on different threads and it derails / spoils them. If there is a thread where everyone can air their views, then this can be it and not on an unrelated thread
Either we agree to put an end to the theories & ideas and ITK comments on other threads and we all move on OR leave this thread open and point anyone who comments about Rice making signings or the disharmony behind the scenes
I’ll leave it up to @bluequarters etc to decide
To answer the question.
I don’t know. And i highly expect to never know. I don’t have a friendship with him, or anyone involved with the club.
Yes. I’ve done it with the transfer rumours thread.
Press the bell icon at the foot of the thread and choose your preferred option.

All the answers as to why he “joined” Luton are in the article plus the fact they offered him a job…
I was making my comments somewhat in gest. In principle I agree that it would be great to focus the MB conversations to one thread. I think that would allow others to be derailed by puns in the traditional way rather that simmering anger
One of the most extraordinary aspects of this new incarnation of the Gasroom has been the rise to prominence of a member who has had “issues” in the past, not least with the feeling that he was getting a raw deal with the ill-fated down-thumbing feature - getting down thumbed when posting very similar views to those of other Gasroomers who weren’t.
He and I had one or two DM exchanges about his concerns at a time when he was at a very low ebb and had more or less decided to discontinue his membership. And I like to think that his decision to continue was at least partly due to my encouragement. I’ve not been in touch recently but it is good to see that he has become one of the most active members.
It’s more nuanced than that, we need multiple threads depending on your point of view …
A) It’s all DRs fault
B) DR was only following MLs orders
C) MB is a Judas
D) MB was hounded out
etc etc …
Surely, by now we need a Daily Mail style: The Real Reason Bloomfield Left clickbait headline (with no real facts and a picture of him with his arms folded) to draw the punters in in numbers?
Otherwise it’s just more repeats…
He simply wanted to be loved.
In all seriousness, I don’t think the comments keep coming because people are unaware of what happened, as it has all been stated before. I think it is because everyone is in various stages of sadness/frustration/coping/denial about the tiny whimper our season ended with. Some are angry about mistreatment of a legend and a wasted opportunity, others want to say the change of manager/coach made no difference, but it is all analyzing something that has passed. What is really needed is a new season, one in which the new establishment and coach have everything their own way, so it can be analyzed as an independent campaign.
The reality is that we are going to see what the ownership is about eventually, and what Dodds about with a bit of time and “his own” players.
Don’t we all
Definatootly.
Absobloominlootly spot on.
I think he left when he saw the price of IPA in the Vere was £6, only popping in once to do a post match Q&A (that I wish they would make a regular feature again) and realised that it was unsustainable pricing for a bog standard bitter in a L1 club…
Thank god this thread appears to be petering out.
