Wycombe Wanderers are in the FA Youth Cup

The Entries for the FA Cup, FA Trophy, FA Vase and FA Youth Cup have been announced

And Wycombe are one of the clubs that have been accepted entry into the FA Youth Cup for this season. The Seeds of the Academy are being shown. Like the FA Cup, we will enter in the 1st Round as the EFL Entry.

This is genuinely excellent and unexpected news. I wonder if it means we’ll be entering a league this season as well. Although I quite like the idea of having a team that just plays cup games.

I would imagine that we will probably enter the Southern Tier of EFL Youth Alliance, alongside with other EFL Clubs and some National League sides. There is a possibility however of entering a higher league such as the U18 Profesional Development League but I do not think the academy is ready for that just yet.
