25 / 26 Tour de Season Attendance Prediction

After the Bolton Away Game - Match 36

Many congratulations to @DevC and @Monza who retain the honours at the top of the Leaderboard and with the best individual prediction respectively.

Congratulations to @LDF joint Forecaster of the Week who makes a huge leap up the table and also instead of being in the doorway of the Sub 100 Club is now well ensonced instead.

Congratulations to @Glenactico joint Forecaster of the Week who has a new personal best forecast for the season. makes a substantial improvement in score but less of a movement than @LDF in a less crowded part of the table.

Congratulations to @Ozzie_the_Relaxed, comparatively late entrant to the competition who continues to reach new heights.

Congratulations and welcome to the Leaderboard to @KeithBarrettsTache who joins the table on the occasion of a tenth prediction of the season.

Happy predicting to all, the Luton attendance thread will be up later today.

Thanks Steve - good to see I’m coming into form at the business end of the season.

The dizzy heights of last place go me! All good fun but it’s proved I’m absolutely clueless at this. Maybe I’ll get the hang of it next season :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Put on a blindfold and throw darts at a board. Works for me

After the Luton Home Game - Match 37

Many congratulations to @DevC who remains at the top of the Leaderboard, despite not registering a “scoring score” since the Stevenage game (Match 33). This illustrates how it becomes harder as the season draws towards the end - @DevC’s accuracy means that his benchmardk for a “scoring score” is missing by 60 or less.

With a match score of 53 @Commoner did enough to move up into 3rd place. @Commoner and @ChipsintheAdams in 4th are both approximately 4 points back from @DevC. @our_frank in second is around a couple of points off the top.

@wwfcblue was the only other Forecaster in the top eight on the Leaderboard to register a counting match day score [68] - not enough to move up a place because @Commoner also improved, but it does mean a '“five point” gap to @DevC rather than a “six point chasm”

There has been a lot of interest around 9th place recently - what with @LDF moving there last week after a giant leap up the Leaderboard and our own beloved club oscillating in and out of it in League One. This match it has a brand new occupant on here who deserves both congratulations and many congratulations. Step forward Forecaster of the Week @Monza who has the best single prediction already for the Barnsley home game [1]! and a match score for the Luton home game of just [8]. Ninth is the highest placing for @Monza so far this season - last match that was 13th and the big leap was from 15th. The only other forecaster to have three single digit scores is @our_frank in second place on the Leaderboard.

Of course I had a look to see what it would take for @Monza to reach higher up the table. From 9th to 6th and the Play Off positions can’t be done in a single game but is easily feasible with two very good scores so a four point gap. It’s “nine points” currently to the top of the Leaderboard. Realistically @Monza has counting scores over one hundred and would probably need to discard all of them. So there are similarities between the two ninth places.

Nobody joined the Presitigious Sub 100 Club this week although congratulations to @PJS who gave it a very good go with a match day score of 58, which propelled them into the bunch gathered right at the doorway and from 27th to 19th on the Leaderboard.

Nobody produced their best prediction of the season for the Luton game.

I hope to make further updates today, apologies for the delays - I travelled to Wycombe for the Luton game on Sarurday and then down to South Wales on Sunday, rturning home to East Anglia on Wednesday. The Orient away game attendance thread is open for predictions.

Happy crystal ball gazing, both on these threads and for the @DevC’s excellent Charity Score Prediction game.
