Wycombe Wanderers Foundation have announced the inaugural Adams Park Community Cup, hosted at the home of Wycombe Wanderers!
"This festival of football is an opportunity to play on a top-level professional football pitch graced by Chairboys legends and help us bring our community together through the beautiful game.
All funds raised from the day will go back into the Foundation for the delivery of our education, health & well-being and social inclusion programmes for our community."
All fixtures played on the stadium pitch at Adams Park
All teams guaranteed to play a minimum of 6 x 12-minute fixtures
Maximum squad size: 10 players (strictly enforced)
Cost: £350 per team without food
Cost £450 per team with a basket lunch/dinner
The competition is on Saturday 6th June, with two age brackets: Under 40s: 08:30 – 13:00 Over 40s: 14:00 – 18:30
So, the question is…are enough people interested for us to raise a team (or two)? Of course, all welcome!

But, as a goalkeeper (which with your username I assume you must be), you will get opportunities to sit down occasionally and your breathlessness should go unnoticed. You might face competition from Will Norris of course.
I am very narrowly under 90 and not exactly match fit so will graciously refrain from offering my services.
