If this was 20 years earlier, I’d be well up for it. With my knees like margerine tubs, I wouldn’t get past the pre-match warmup.

I’’m not sure Captain Jack is a man who reacts too well to the sun. Definitely a Factor 50 man in the shade.

I would have loved to be involved… especially as by then I’d be 41 and be a spring chicken in the over 40s!
But that is when I plan to be away somewhere hot and sunny 
… well ask again in a few weeks… . This fcuking middle East war may well ruin my plans… .

Based on the poll, wee still have 1 space left in the U40s, and 3 in the 40+ team. This will operate on a first come, first serve basis.
When prompted, please fill in your name, address and phone number accurately, as WWFC will likely need this information for insurance purposes.
If we get the full 20 to sign-up (10 per squad), the actual cost per player out to £35. We will spend any extra money on half-time oranges, waters, powerades etc.
If we get less than 17 players, we will cover the difference with the Gasroom kitty, rather than chasing people for it. We are also looking into designing a custom Gasroom kit too.

After some strong initial interest in the poll, we’ve had very few paid signs-up for this.
If we don’t have at least 5 per squad by next week, unfortunately we will probably have to give this one a miss and refund the payments.

Unfortunately sign ups are still too limited for us to field a team, so we’ll not be able to enter the competition. If you have paid to play already we will refund your money today, it may take 5–10 days to appear on your statement.
