Former WWFC Footballers

I know he winds people up, but he seems to me to be one of the most likeable ex-Wycombe players and it’s a shame we never had Scowen and O’Nien together in midfield.

My grandparents had two black Labs, a boy and a girl Nelson and Winnie. It was forty years ago - v different times, perhaps one shouldn’t judge the past by the values of the present?

Just don’t call it what WW2 hero Guy Gibson called his Black lab, and you’re golden :+1:

For maximum offence call the dog Alan Smith

Tjay De Barr’s earned Wycombe nearly €55k in UEFA Club Benefits Payments for his appearances with Gibraltar over the past 5 years. Not sure if Joe Low’s Welsh caps count towards this too.

Several non-league teams earning a tidy sum as well.

Having given their supposed hero Gaz a load of grief and zero cash they got this guy from the data presumably as nobody had heard of him and decided to give him the millions to spend…and after doing sort of alright for a bit he wants to clear off to West Brom. Lol.

Couldn’t happen to a nicer bunch.

Did they realise ex Wanderers and Carshalton midfielder Gavin Fraser was the brother of Free’s bass guitarist and founder member Andy Fraser ??

Well not strictly a player for us but Peter Taylor is back in management at Canvey - his seventeenth club plus two countries and two country age groups.

Didn’t realise that, but thinking back to both those guys, I think I can see a bit of a resemblance. Always liked Gavin as a player. And Andy was a pretty good bass player too.

Gape, Wheeler, Pierre and Blackman all leave Shrewsbury. Wonder how many of them will be rocking up at Gillingham in the near future?
