Eze scores for Arsenal to send them 2 up against Spurs.

We were so lucky to see him play for WWFC weren’t we?

…and he scores again

Eze tearing Spurs apart here

Hat trick for Eze

First in the NLD for almost 50 years

I was going to say, Alan Sunderland scored one in 1978, and then I remembered that was almost 50 years ago and now I feel ancient.

Even all those years back he was ridiculously too good for league 2.

He was amazing at Wycombe, what a player.

And he often mentions in interviews that his career really took off after his loan spell at Adams Park. I rather regret having changed my profile picture on here from one of Eze on the front cover of a matchday programme but I couldn’t lay my hands on it at the time.

Just wondering and I don’t know if anyone else knows on here but did we have a sell-on agreement with Athletic Newham?

No idea but I sincerely hope so

I played cricket with Otto at the RGS (he kept wicket) and was in touch with him at one time, living in Florida. He was one of “The Cedar Boys”, Jewish refugees brought to England by Lord Rothschild to live at Waddesdon. Otto’s mother survived a concentration camp and emigrated to the USA, and Otto left here to join her. Apart from his football, he did very well in business.

Apologies if you know all this.

No @wingnut, I didn’t know that. It’s always interesting to hear your stories of old.

A piece about Otto at the RGS, with a response from Otto. It doesn’t say when this was posted.

It was few years ago. I supplied the informtion about Otto at the RGS where he was a boarder for 2 years. This is a picture of The Cedar Boys, named after the house they lived in at Waddesdon. The picture here shows the boys. Otto is 3rd left in the back row and his brother Rolf is 2nd right. Rolf played football for Aylesbury United and also went to the USA and won 3 caps for their national team.

Loving the history lesson Wingnut.

It looks as if Otto is still alive and in his 90’s if his Wiki page is correct.
