Former WWFC Footballers

I believe he may well be. I still have his Email address, so I will find out. I lost touch through my own personal circumstances.

Scott ‘Sicknote’ Marshall returns to QPR as Under 18’s coach. Marshall went to Reading in the summer as Assistant to Noel Hunt, but was let go when Hunt was sacked.

Josh Umerah and Will De Havilland both on target for Maidenhead tonight, currently 5 nil up at Salisbury.

Eze with an assist as Arsenal beat Bayern

There’s no stopping him, is there. Hope he wins the golden boot across the Atlantic next summer. You wouldn’t put it past him.

Nah. Joint Golden Boot winner with some guy called Richard Kone

Great stuff @wingnut. Let us know if you are able to make contact with Otto.

Have we ever had a player that has played for us that has scored at either a World cup or Euro’s or any other continental tournament ? Only one I know of is Sam Vokes in the Euro’s

I have had no reply so far.

The answer is nearly always Ray Wilkins when someone’s asks a question like this, isn’t it?

Although if U21’s count Cyril Regis scored his first goal for the England under-21s on 5 June 1979, in a 3–1 away win against v Bulgaria in the 1980 U21 European Championship.

The tournament was played over a two year period, so technically this counts as part of the tournament rather than qualification for the tournament finals.

Hi Tom. We never did get to have that coffee but it’s always good to see former regular posters return to the Gasroom. I’m struggling to remember your most recent username exactly but it was something to do with a certain accident prone goalkeeper. I think most of us long-standing Gasroomers know why you had to hurriedly discard the username before that. Your present title makes me think of a magazine that has been going since time when I were a little lad.

Just checked. It’s actually 27 years older than me!

Flymofrank! Fun fact (or not): both goalkeepers in my first Wycombe game were Aussies

But how many toes did they have?

I’m thinking 18.

The other one was John Filan for Wigan. I’m not sure what his toe situation is…
