Yes, sorry for any confusion. I did mean Killian! BWK and a fail on my part. Amended now!
Magnus Watch: Magnus Westergaard scores the third goal for Vålerenga just two minutes after coming on in a 3-1 home win over Kristiansund.
So are you saying he still isnt a nailed on starter?
His Dad will be irate on FB again…
What is the standard of the league compared to an English league? Sorry if you have spoken about it previously
He had been starting games but hadn’t made many contributions as far as I could tell. This is hopefully the start of something?! No idea on standard of the league, I’d imagine lower half of Champ at best, L1 otherwise. Vålerenga Is one of Norway’s big fish but they’ve bumbled between divisions in recent seasons.
Opta puts the Norwegian Eliteserien between the Championship and League one. Much closer to Championship than League One.
Magnus just needs more game time.
Paul Franklin in the middle with blond hair?
And maybe Kevin Keen bottom right bubble (although I don’t think it is)?
Correct
It’s not Kevin Keen
Neil Price second from right, front row.
Correct
A left back, he signed for us less then two years after being a losing FA Cup finalist starter for Watford against Everton. Once went to an Elton John garden party!
This is all well and good of course… . But why is he wearing speedos???
His brother Josh had a brief Spell at WWFC in 1991.
Did he not also score the greatest own goal in the history of football ever to effectively send us down from the Gola League?
Wasn’t that Graham Pearce?
Yes it was Pearce 30 yard OG lob v Alty. We had the polar opposite of ‘Embarrassment of riches’ at left back in those days. Pearce had pace, but was physically weak, dreadful in the air, and pretty poor defender. Where as Neil Price had a lovely left foot, but was overweight and would get regularly roasted for pace.
