Gmac released

What a player, what a kit. Up there with the best in my 25 years of watching the Blues. Good luck, Garath.

They have said there will be a video /last interview released tomorrow .

What a servant to the club!

Will be missed, a true legend, who caused so many happy memories for us all.

One of my all time favourite players. He’d walk into this team.

Gutted.

“Makes you wonder if Scowen wasn’t injured would he still be here.”

I thought exactly the same, and not with any sympathy for the current regime if that’s their thinking - although not wanting to rant about a still hypothetical scenario.

Anyway.

GMac has been responsible for so many great moments in a Wycombe shirt, I think the time he took a corner whilst getting dog’s abuse from the PNL peasantry, only for us to score it was one of my faves.

Would be highly unsurprised for him to rock up at Gillingham and would have every faith in him to do a great job there.

If this were the case surely Grimmer and Leahy would have been shown the door ?

No character allowed at Wycombe Wanderers FC. Just miserable looking young players waiting to get thrown under a bus by a clown who wants everyone to stick together.

You’re better off out of it GMac. Best of luck to a true Wycombe legend.

Give it time. They’ll soon be carrying the can for this poor start. In fact, most Rice acolytes (including your good self I believe) have already identified them as ‘not good enough’.

My favourite modern day player and possibly my favourite Wycombe player of all time. Possibly one of the most gifted players we have ever had. Will never forget that goal against Forest Green. Good luck GMac and thanks for the memories!

McCleary was on the wane (to be expected given his age) and he was probably on a fair amount of ÂŁ, so seems a sensible way to free up some wage and squad space tbh

I have said (along with others ) that they are good players but don’t fit into this way of playing . In any case Dodds thinks differently are you saying in this that he is bob on ?

At least he is doing something right in you mind then !

Absolutely right . He is 39 next birthday but I fear some on here almost need him to have been hounded out to make their criticism on the ownership complete .

Point of order: he wasn’t released - he left by mutual consent. They’re not the same thing.

Basically the same, he got a new contract on a clause because he played 50 games last season, and we’ve decided to pay him off despite the fact he’s both more effective than those playing now and hugely experienced. Does this academy not need any playing experience?

This makes no difference in the minds of conspiracy theorists . The owners have made mistakes for sure . There are rumours peddled as facts on here daily though , I don’t mind anyone calling them out for something they have clearly done , but some of the accusations are groundless (or lacking in any real evidence at the least ).

You would think they are a satanic cult with the way some people go on

People exaggerating on the internet, surely not.

No need to go fishing for reasons though when they have spent so much and taken our first team from one of the best to one of the worst in the division.

Well exactly that .There is enough of an issue without making shit up . Someone on a different thread said earlier that the Danish coach they tried to get refused to come because he had heard about the way Rice had treated Bloomfield , and that this is apparently well know !

Well known where ? the BFP , the BBC ?

I mean come on.

Yeah, there’s not a huge difference - I’m just being pedantic
