January window - go/stay, sign

Or Duff might want to sign different loan players?

Or could it be his lack of confidence?!

Yeah that’s what I meant, his lack of confidence

It’s a long season and there must be something about Fink if he managed 70+ appearances in the Swiss first tier. Really hope he comes good.

He’s scored 4 in 9 games. If he carries on like that he will be mid teens at least.

So if Aaron Morley was available, who would want him to join the Chairboys in January?

I certainly would even though Luke Leahy has played exceptionally well since Michael Duff came in.

Personally I would sign Morley and let Westagaard and Tilley go out on loan. I really rate Henderson, Mullins and to a lesser extent CBM, but with Morley and Scowen as midfield options in the New Year, that would strengthen our squad.

Who wouldn’t?! I think the club’s only January signings will be extending the deals of the incumbent players. Perhaps we will sign a central defender or right back.

Totally agree. Like Bolton our squad is too big so I would add Skura and Lowry (too inconsistent and one dimensional to start) to Tilley and Westagaard for loans.

I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up but I fully expect us to go for Aaron Morley in January and I fully expect us to sign Aaron Morley in January.

Our squad may be large, but as far as I know, there is no financial pressure to reduce the wage bill, unlike Bolton.

It means that, for cup games, we can put out a complete ā€œreserveā€ starting XI, and still be competitive with our likely opposition. Sio I would keep them all while we are still in the EFL Trophy and FA Cup.

We do only have one senior player space available though.

There may not be financial pressure within the Club, but nevertheless, we like every other club, are bound by the SCMP rules. If we signed Morley he would be unlikely to join us on less salary than he’s on at Bolton. We would need to reduce our wages elsewhere.

You’d have to think that, unless he’s injured, Skura would be going out on loan in January if he’s not even getting on the bench in the Tinpot Trophy.

I remember him as being pretty promising though so I have no idea why he’s not even getting close to a look-in.

Agreed but I do think we will let players go permanently as well as out on loan.

Have you been on the magic mushrooms? (other hallucinogens are available)

I know you suffer from severe optimism but if this actually happens I will return that Chelsea kiss!

Yes, young Skura looks like he will probably head out on loan, possibly along with Tilley and Huggins might return to Sunderland. I still think we might see three new faces at CB, CM and CF.

This isn’t a comment just based on opinion.

We’re taking it as a fact now, I’m afraid.

You best not be wrong.

It is by no means a fact. But Wycombe are still interested in him.

This comment isn’t my opinion. Alex Lynch played in goal at Wembley.
