Close between Taylor , Fred , Grimmer and Huggins. Gone for Taylor for the goal

My boy Connor again! Didn’t put a foot wrong and a goal!

Didn’t he do well.

Surprised I’m the only one who voted for Woodrow.

Fred, just ahead of Taylor. Quite an entertaining game for a dead rubber.

I think one or two of us (me included) are still working on the confidence thing (although he must by now be oozing it).

Woodrow is a good shout. He does make such a difference to how we play.

I also thought Morley was a key part in how well we (mostly) played today.

I actually went for Fred though. It felt wrong to give it to a defender (Taylor - well that he played) given he didn’t have much to do in that department.

Went for Woodrow though could have gone Taylor.

Man alive. We’ve just won 4-0 and are still somehow on the edge of the mix, 2pts with 6 to go. Do you get any enjoyment out of WWFC?

For me Woodrow’s best position is where he played today, sort of the not quite ten role.

Second Striker would be the name

Went for Taylor but Woodrow, Morley, Fred, Grimmer and Harvie all had good shouts.

I know it was only Port Vale but a goal for Duff’s mate, a Gasroom whipping boy, an offside AP legend and a player too.lightweight for League One as well as a clean sheet for a goalie who should never pull on the shirt again is a good result!

Tough one this week as many to choose from

Taylor - solid (if unspectacular) at the back and a well taken goal
Fred - looked really dangerous on the right & a really cute goal
Huggins - excellent interlink pay with Fred/Junior on the right & no slouch defensively
Harvie - same as Huggins but on the left
Morley - worked tirelessly in midfield 7 did the unsung stuff really well
Grimmer - a good run out at CB, as someone else has said he needs to transition to a CB given how good Huggins has been at RB
Woodrow - work really hard as the support striker/No 10 and reacted really sharply for his goal

Overall it was a really good team performance, no one embarrassed themselves all for me were at least 6.5/10.

In the end I went for Morley as he is the glue that holds us together & just makes us tick.

If you played CM 03/04 it’s the Denis Bergkamp role.

Tempted to vote Norris just because of the shimmering apes behind the goal. Taylor was very good, albeit against a very ineffectual Vale attack, but Woodrow made the team tick today. Such a busy, intelligent player.

Guess you missed the word “entertaining” in my post?

In all honesty, less than I used to

Relegation battle in September and a dead rubber in March, two points off the play offs

Marvellous stuff
