Plenty of effort yes, but virtually no impact. It’s awful to watch and it’s completely ineffectual.

They took their moment, we didn’t. A thoroughly forgettable play-off tie to end a thoroughly depressing end to the season. Can’t fault the commitment tonight but zero quality in 180mins of knockout football.

No attacking threat whatsoever and where was the midfield. Dodds set us up to nullify and thats not good enough in a one off game. Bringing on 3 subs with 5 mins to go is farsical. Very sad end the season. So so dissapointed

15 goals in 19 games. Next season is going to be a horrific watch. On course for a whopping 36 goals in the whole season.

Dodds has not been up to it , we have had the strongest squad I’ve ever seen and he’s blown it.

Sunderland last season was similar. I can’t remember the name of the guy that took the interim manager’s job… Dike Modds or something like that, I think.

Teams are going to start playing 0-0-11 against us next season when they realize how much pure, distilled hatred Dodds has for trying to score.

Well that was disappointing. I dont think we did too bad over the two games (compared to our recent form and showings)
The better team won. Charlton deserved to win.
Thats all i can muster right now.
We go again next season. I will reserve any criticisms until after the transfer window and see how Dodds sets up the lads and how he sets us up to play next season.
A turbulent and disappointing finale… but it was a strange old season.
