Wild to me that Henderson isnt mentioned in any of that.

For me he has been one of the few positives to come out of the season so far. Always looks to want to take the ball forward.

As others have said, great result last night but lets no get carried away. It was literally Men vs Boys. Lets see when our young players are the younger of the ones on the pitch and see if they continue to be bullied by seasoned pros and we can then be sure of our best line ups.

McNeilly does seem to have the knack of being in the right place and getting goals. I’m not as completely convinced by him as others have been in many aspects of his game, but you can’t argue against the current output.

I know it was Pro’s vs Boys last night but it was clear that we do possess players that are willing to attack and its a stark contrast to what we have witnessed so far this season

But if you have them cutting in, you need support wide, which is why wingbacks work. We don’t have a traditional holding midfielder so back 3 is best we can do.

Hes pretty raw, but he offers some excitement and a bit different. He will run and take players on, with a finish on him.

Obviously has a lot of potential.

As much as I would like him to succeed here, every time I watch Fink he seems to lack the required physicality. Even the Fulham U21s were bullying him off the ball and winning the aerial challenges . His first touch and pace also seem a bit dodgy to me. Certainly not seeing why we spent over a million on him so far.

That’s why you give the Full-Backs permission to get forward and support them. With a mixture of Harvie, Back & Huggins, they have the legs on them to get up and down the pitch.

Obv, they need to be aware that if the RB goes forward, the LB has to hang back and the other way around so that we aren’t left with just 2 at the back. Also with CBM & Leahy or Abbott in CM, we’ll have a head there that’s willing to hang a little deeper too.

He’s def not the player that we saw on the first day of the season where he had a burst of pace & awareness about him to find small gaps in the defensive line. The injury def knocked him back and prob the poor management of him since hasn’t helped

Exactly - the last time 5 at the back really worked for us feels like it was in the Championship under Gaz? Since then, Bloomfield, Dodds and now Duff have all tried it in L1 and it hasn’t worked.

Hope you meant ā€œnot seeing so far….!ā€œ Nearly a million so far sounds alarming.

I think Henderson is up there with the best we have.I think as time goes on he will prove to be our best midfielder.

In Skrua we’re screwed! Sorry @Otter87. Very bad taste but you know what I’m like about names.

Only if you are a diabetic and haven’t taken your medication @micra !

It gets worse. The system won’t let me edit my post. I wrongly wrote ā€œNearly a millionā€ but I can’t change it to ā€œOver a millionā€ which is what you wrote.

I’m not diabetic so I don’t understand how failing to take my medication might have affected what I wrote.

But it’s an ill wind that blows no good and you’ve unwittingly reminded me that, by no means for the first time, I have indeed forgotten to take my morning medication. I’m swallowing the pills now!

I was playing on Skura being another way to say ā€œSugarā€. If a Diabetic takes lots of sugar without their medication (either tablets or Insulin) they can become very ill. I wasn’t saying you were Diabetic @micra, I was just trying to be funny but it failed

skura actually means ā€˜scour’

i’ve certainly scoured your joke attempt from my brain.
