I know you can argue pros and cons of both keeper yellows…seeing it live I was surprised Norris did not walk after that mess (though it may have been harsh according to our resident experts) so was not entirely surprised their keeper did not get a red that may have triggered an already angry away crowd and an exploding scouse manager.
I’m of the same opinion; I think their keeper had a stay of execution purely because Norris received a yellow instead of a red. However, I think the referee will still have a hard time explaining that away to his superiors once his report is submitted.

Their keeper prevented Fred from having an open goal. Doesn’t really matter whether it upsets their manager or not

Could always tell he could read the game at a high level and had great vision in possession but now that he’s using his larger frame to his advantage, he’s been able to impose himself far more at both ends of the pitch. Not sure what we do with Allen now when he’s fit, maybe try him at left back again so Harvie can get some rest?
How to fit Allen in is probably the hardest decision for Duff.
