I am thanks after a triple whammy of afflictions, none egg related. Three hour episode of SVT which is disabling and painful - just managing to get to the bathroom with assistance - Imodium not doing its job with dire (!) consequences, unrelated to the heart condition of course, and this evening migraine aura (but mercifully these days not followed by the headache).
Of the good and bad days today has to be the worst.
Early night now (for me at least).

There is not any specific in law regarding this. Guidelines though to not allow a quick free kick includes scenarios where a player is being warned/cautioned/dismissed. Attacking free kicks are usually on the whistle and always where there is a wall. What do you mean by your last sentence?
My very late thoughts on Saturday.
The starting line up was not right which we all know. But this was very, very likely due to fitness issues around Woodrow and Morley. In the current squad, those 2 are nailed on starters and allow us to play much more controlled football centrally. The first half we started well, but it was quite frenetic after that, particularly after the excellent Plymouth goal.
Second half, with the introduction of Woodrow, we were much, much better and with an experienced centre forward would probably have won the game. Many say we do not create the chances for a centre forward, but I just don’t think that’s true. Woodrow is a very good footballer but he’s not a ‘striker’ - he had two guilt edged chances in the first few minutes of the second half (the shot across goal from Fred cut back and a header from Harvie’s head back across which he misjudged). For me, if we had a striker of equivalent quality to, say, Aaron Morley, he would have scored both chances. And we’d have won the game. Its such fine margins at all levels of professional football (this is not an attack on Woodrow, he is a really important player for us, just not an out and out goalscorer).

The ref stopped Morley taking a quick free kick by physically getting his feet in the way! Hence the block tackle comment.

I didn’t see the game. So can’t really judge until I saw a clip of it.
I didn’t mind having Fred, Silko and Junior across the top when I saw the team, however, the midfield didn’t support that selection.
Henderson was wasted as the deep midfielder. Mullins is not justifying a start. I would have gone with the three most energetic midfielders who can do box to box, with those three up front.
Boyd-Munce was excellent when he came on and was getting involved in quick 1-2 passing, moving forwards which then started to unlock their defence. He needs to start with Josh and then it’s a case of whether Morley or Henderson plays in a three. I can see us needing to go to a back three soon to get the best out of the team.
Far too often we move forwards reasonably quickly and then go back to safety. If we want to break down teams, we need more people running into space and we need to stop recycling the ball endlessly. Our crosses were pretty woeful as well, when we did get into some good positions.
Early doors, two draws and some things to build on. I do not see a side challenging the top 10 currently.

2 points on the board, last few years we started off with back to back losses… Exeter and Lincoln 3-0 defeats under Bloomers, Wrexham and Birmingham 3-2 defeats under Bloomers, then 2-1 defeats to Bradford and Stockport under Doddsy. I see this as progress.
