Fred completely ineffective so far. We look like the away team. We need to try and get Harvie in the game overlapping he’s barely had a kick. Hartridge annoyingly seems to always do alright against us.

It’s a very bitty game. There’s nothing to it so far, except that they signed a proven striker who took his quarter chance. Not much in it. Neither side glamorous. We are so limited without Morley.

We do look too slight here. If youve got 3 rapid strikers, we need to find space in front. Were struggling.
Makes you wonder if the lack of striker is a statement from Duff that he needs a new one

Tripe do far, Silko our only threat. I feared when I saw the pensioner Cook and donkey Taylor at centre back, we have nothing up front to keep the play up our end of the field.

We’re playing Grimmer because hes the captain. Its mad some people cant realise that.
Midfield is good enough on the ball, but bad off it. So weak through the middle.

I’m quite happy with the defence’s leadership qualities should Grimmer not start. He’s club captain but doesn’t have to start. Steve Cook was a successful club captain of a Premier League team and not even vice-captain in this side.
