We needed this timeout more than them. We surely canā€™t lose sight of the fact that Ainsworth was one of the first adopters of dunking the goalkeeper to the floor when momentum wasnā€™t in our favour. That was approximately 10 years ago now. Hardly new.

Yes Lowry looks pretty lazy and wasteful right now. Port Vale look a yard quicker all around the field.

If I was a betting man, Iā€™d be throwing it all on a red card here. Ref is totally nuts. Pitch is poor and bobbly. Both sides think theyā€™re worthy of more than a draw. Feels imminent.

Lowry isnā€™t in for the midfield heā€™s regularly further forward than Woodrow. Iā€™ve only had last 10 minutes or so, but if we score we will win comfortably.

Weā€™ve looked more dangerous.

Agree about the ref. Wouldnā€™t be surprised to see a player or 2 sent off in the second half.

Grew into the game and all our good work is coming down the right, just keep giving it to Fred, heā€™s been really good so far. Been impressed with Casey aswell, got an important block in early doors and has looked solid all game.

Fancy us to go on and win the game.
