After being totally outplayed for first 15 minutes, I think we should be ahead at the break. Fred is giving them the run around and with three of their defenders on a booking fancy our/his chances. I donāt agree with criticism of Lowry. Not his greatest performance but heās been involved and a threat, just some poor decision making.

We grew into the game. Ref is far too card happy though, someone is going to end up walking for so something stupid at this rate.
Plus assume we have a slight advantage with the wind in second half.

should be 2 or 3 up, Fred is ridiculous, best player in the leagueā¦defence playing superbly , Henderson class, Leahy and Lowry poor , Bell is far too lightweight, big mistake not having a proper 9 on the bench, Woodrow is way off with his shooting

Good way to finish the half. Our best threat is clearly from Hagelskjaerās throw, so you want the penetration to come from Bell and Fred in wide areas to win more throws. You donāt want penetration in the central 10 position. Lowry clearly well off the pace. Iām keen to see us bring a deeper midfielder on in place of Lowry and go slightly more direct with these diagonals out wide and win more second balls with Boyd-Munce instead of Lowry. Win more throws. I think weāll win this. Theyāve had more chances, but theirs are of low quality. Weāve had much more threatening chances of genuine quality.
Donāt really understand what all the bleatingās about.
Our performance has been fine. Jacob Miles performance has been fine.
The first half-hour was all about how high Port Vale pressed and how well they did it. Despite that theyāve failed to register a single shot on target, due to how strongly weāve defended.
Fred Onyedinma has been a fantastic outlet, posed a real threat and should have scored. Cauley Woodrow should have scored too.
Given their situation this game is there for us to win in the second half.

I donāt know what the bleatings about either or the criticism of Lowry. Weāre doing fine here.
We could easily be three up at the break. Weāve missed some great chances.

Either side could have 3 goals with slightly improved finishing. I can understand why the valiants are so far below their xG based on that first half showing.
Woodrow really should have placed his strike from the centre of the area better given the time and space he had, or even taken a touch. Everything good is flowing through Fred.
I love how old school the Vale kits look in white without a sponsor. Iād buy a replica with a player number, but no name, to add the finishing touch if I was a supporter.
A strong tailwind has cut over an hour off the flight time but the turbulence is awful.

Up against it for 30mins, but should be a goal or 2 up at the break.
Need to carry that momentum into the 2nd half. If we do itās a winable game.

Just need a bit more end product from the boy.
First 25 minutes they were pressing very high & giving us little or no time on the ball, their workrate was also high which proved unsustainable & allowed us to start to express ourselves in the latter 25 minutes of the half; frankly we were unlucky not to be at least one up at the whistle.
I expect us to go on to win this game

Interesting to see us try a repeat of a free-kick move that saw us score at Bradford City on the opening day of the season. Sadly Cauley Woodrow is no Dan Udoh.

Thats exactly how i feel with woodrow, he has had a few sitters but he does not have the precision. Would really like to see Fink have a few starts that header was absolute class Tuesday . No way could Woodrow produce something like that. He seems to miss a lot of shots that should go in
