Big game today, feeling fairly confident despite the lack of wins on the road. With a fairly fit squad available plenty of options for Duff to go for. Would be nice to see a win with a large following from Bucks. With the recent Bearwood issue and protests outside our ground, owners switching sides and a fair few old chairboy workers now in Berkshire. I’d say there is a life extra spice in this fixture now. Also if anyone on here reads X if does seem that a fair few reading fans dislike us and all week have been banging on about our following today and poor home attendances. Let’s show them attendances does not win football matches.

Yes I feel the same as you. Even without the backing of strong away form, I do feel some confidence going into this fixture. Especially after last week.

I actually think the Wycombe fans on X have been remarkably reserved! Hardly anyone biting to the Reading lot’s constant fishing about our supporter base and club in general. It’s almost like there’s this understanding we’re quite possibly on the cusp of something special!

A really odd bunch, and it’s all their fans spouting it’s not a rivalry or derby everywhere. I don’t think I’ve seen a Wycombe fan speak on the matter? Nice to know they care so much about a low attendance club that’s irrelevant isn’t it? I’ll reserve my posting on X until 3pm after we stuff em

Ah yes, seen this before with the PNLs, I have sometimes referred to OUFC/WWFC games as the Not A Local Derby for that reason, as in, yes I agree that it isn’t a derby, but why do they then need to go and bang on about the same?

I have a bad feeling about this one, and I’ve just realised why.

Since 12.30 kickoffs were introduced in League One at the start of last season, I’ve watched us play in five 12.30 kickoff away games. We’ve lost every single one (Charlton, Birmingham, Reading, Orient, Wimbledon). I think I associate the 12.30 kickoff with losing, and watching everyone else play and catch us up later in the day. It genuinely is an awful time, and they always seem to give us the 12.30 kickoff on “proper” away days (i.e. in London, Birmingham, or local rivals), which spoils it

Come on Wycombe! Big game today.

Kazakhstan first started celebrating its National Lovers’ Day on April 15th 2011. This holiday became the alternative to Valentine’s Day celebrated internationally on February 14th. The Kazakh National Lovers’ Day is dedicated to the great love of the legendary epic characters Kozy Korpesh and Bayan Sulu. The epic poem of the same name tells the story of the tragic, faithful and incredible love between two young people, who were not destined to be together.

a bit like kone and bluey…

Aah yes, the Kazakh Romeo and Juliet but what’s this with Kone and Bluey the swan?

bluey and kone were not destined to be together.

COME. ON. WYCOMBE.

That is all

Will be very interesting to see what midfield Duff selects today.

So do, and so have I. And his name is Lewis F@cking Wing

Morley Henderson Harris. Think they’ll be careful on CBM. But even if CBM plays id think its in place of Henderson.

( obviously I haven’t got a clue, but I think he wants a forward runner and thats Harris)

Oh for a Josh Scowen to be all over Wing, dispossessing him and feeding it to Hendo and Morley.

Reading are desperate for a local rival. I think it used to be Aldershot but as with us and Slough, it’s faded with time and distance. Oxford are more interested in Swindon, so they’re trying to make it us. And we’re not really that bothered, even with recent goings on. They’re just not a club I can get particularly vexed by.

Morley vs Wing in midfield makes this very exciting. I hear Wing is in shocking form. Some fans suggested he should be dropped.
