COME ON WYCOMBE!
For Micra and Korea
If you havenât arranged travel to Stockport
Arrange it now
Good Friday is where Wycombe win
Lewis Montrose to appear on the pitch as part of a gathering of 50+ ex Stockport players today.
Also played for AFC Fylde who I went to watch against Marine on Tuesday night.
I donât travel anywhere these days but Iâll be there in spirit. I cannot speak for Korea as I donât know him or her.
Iâll be trying to persuade my Holmer Green supporting pal to tune in to SkySports+ , assuming that the greens donât have a game today. I have alternative arrangements.
A dark, damp and dreary day currently down south and Iâm guessing similar in Greater Manchester.
6th by 5 PM. Expect nothing less. Come on you Blues!
I know we won 5-0 there last time but whenever I think of Stockport I think we owe them one. That 6-0 defeat, that play-off defeat despite battering them, all the other miserable defeats. Payback still required.
Massive game. COME ON YOU BLUES!!!
Itâs a must win today, and again on Monday to take us to 65 points.
If we can do that, itâs worth noting that Huddersfield v Reading, and Plymouth v Bolton are on today, then on Monday there is Bolton v Stockport, and Reading v Lincoln.
So some of our rivals will inevitably drop points - all we have to do is take advantage.
Match day! Will it be tears, or will it be beers?
COME ON WYCOMBE!!
Iâll be watching from tulip fields just outside of Amsterdam this afternoon.
Iâve witnessed some appalling moments as a Wycombe fan at Edgley Park. Last year was just the start of the payback. COYBs!
100%, has to be a win today otherwise playoffs is stretching further and further away from our hands, stockport havenât lost at their ground since 26th december so will be a hard one today but I still believe
I honestly think that we have enough players now with Championship experience or potential to win today provided the pitch is in better condition than Wiganâs (shared with a rugger team, I believe) and storm David keeps its distance.
Thatâs not to say of course that we wouldnât need a few reinforcements if we did miraculously get promoted.
We have proven we can beat any side in this league (look at our results v top 3). It is a question of consistency though. As tall as an order it is, thatâs why I havenât quite given up, because we are more than capable of winning every one of the last six âmust winâ games.
Wish I had your typing speed!
I hate the way âprovenâ has changed over recent years from an adjective to a verb. It used to be âwe have proved with our proven qualitiesâŚ..â
Another thing to blame the Americans forâŚ
I reckon we will see another Bolton-esque performance today (87 mins onwards aside).
Duff seemed quite bullish in his interview without sounding over confident. Seems he has a nice plan for today.
A win would be huge. Stockport have scored in the first 5 mins when playing at home in their last three home matches.
Stockport have a depleted central midfield with ageing players and back up players being used as starting cover due to injuries in other positions
A good chance the last 20 mins if we are strong and bring on our quality reserves we could find a goal or two at the end of the game.
As others have said a win today would increase our chances of a playoff place, especially with other fixtures this weekend.
COYBâs
Kyle Wottons partner/wife gave birth last night and he could be a doubt today!
Midfielder . Bit of a unit I seem to remember .
I think youâll find that itâs called Storm Dave
