Looks like he’s retrained as a plumber

I thought all plumbers are reformed criminals according to @DevC!

Something about toilets and handling waste products…..

I thought one of MB’s old managerial flames was more renowned for handling waste products…

Not sure there’s anything that he should do well. The worry is, his success came with us after a while and being able to build, if he has another slow start, he wont last, similar to Luton.

Its a funny choice for him, you’d think a club on the up would be a better choice, rather than a club likely coming down.

Are there many clubs “on the up” that are looking to recruit a new manager? It’s the nature of football appointments that many, especially mid season, are clubs in trouble.

Good luck to him but I fear another relegation and another sacking will occur before the year is out.

Your definitely a few crumbs short aren’t you.

No need to get all hot and bothered though, just plumb the depths of your mind.

It’s does warm one’s heart to see Blooms get another chance …

I still absolutely want to see the PNLs get relegated (and then maybe relegated again) but good luck to him I suppose…

Think he’s done very well to get another Championship club. Good luck to him, wish him nothing but the best, even at Oxford!

Can’t really hide on a forum. I’d just like to say, you make this place pretty unbearable a lot of the time. But fairly confident you have a learning disability so I put up with it.

I know numerous poxford fans , they are all deluded will expect promotion if they go down and get on his back if they struggle. One has just told me his view

“ We aren’t a particularly attractive proposition at the moment so he’s the best option at the moment……”

I understood that Colchester was a necessary evil to start his career, and Luton was a step up for him, but this I can not get on board with. Sorry Blooms - I struggle to believe that any Wycombe fan actually wants Oxford to start winning matches.

I see this as very similar to Luton expecting Blooms to save them from relegation. By the time he’s had a chance to make a difference it could be all over. Not sure how strong Poxford’s squad is, but he’s going to have to get busy in this window. You just know he’s going to go for Morley.

The oxford fans were telling me when that were 3/4 positions above relegation that they were going down and I thought they were doing ok that’s says a lot to me , going down this season
