A tenner says he will turn things around immediately…
I don’t think we are weak in any areas.

It’s not even a decision he needs to make!
I’m hoping that players trying to impress a proven new manager will give that little bit more to make it work regardless of tactics, and they’ll be in front of a bouyant home crowd where the terrace isn’t shouting at each other… the classic new manager bounce.
Yep I tend to agree. The squad is talented and has been grossly misused. The only one I’m not sure about is the central defender in a back three (Connor Taylor or his deputy), but I make that the least important position on the pitch in a back three formation. I think our squad should be competing for playoffs and we have 38 games to make up a 10 point gap. Unlikely, but achievable.
Is it just Michael, or Mike , Micky or Mikey.
Mike Duff sounds too similar.
Thought you were namechecking the members of Westlife for a moment.
Michael, Mickey, Mikey, Mick and Mike
I don’t Fink so.
We’ll be able to Duff up the opposition now.
he loves a dance it seems, hopefully he can get the crowd grooving
Has Duff been appointed as Manager or coach?
Happy to take that bet. A tenner to @DevC s charity from me if we get 8 or more points from our next 5 games? (Is that a reasonable target for turning it around immediately?)
How about if we don’t win on Saturday you give me a tenner.
And if we do, I’ll lend you @NewStyleOfPlay for the day to do with him what you will.
You’re on!
Remind me after the fifth game* as I’ve a memory like a fish and will happily pay up.
*or of course potentially after the third game..
Shame it did not work out for Mike Dodds as I believe he was a really nice guy, however the results and format of play were, (Mansfield apart), extremely poor and the inevitable occurred. Regarding the interviews post match, I can put up with the ear touching & rocking no problem, but if I’m honest I never want to hear the words “in terms of” again. ![]()
So is it Duff that didn’t fancy Morley and loaned him out to us. Is it Duff that the Huddersfield fans hated more than we hated Dodds before he got the sack?
No, I think that’s Ian Evatt.
Aaron Morley has never played under Michael Duff.
Blimey. Yes I am getting my Boltons and my Huddersfields mixed up. Phew.
