I’ve found a workaround for this:

  1. When you are typing your post, hit the return key a few times so you have three or four blank lines at the end of it;

  2. Place your cursor above the blank lines and continue typing;

  3. As you continue to type, the ‘Privacy’ button will obscure the last couple of blank lines, but not the text you are actively typing;

  4. Delete the blank lines and post your message.

We hope to have a new consent management platform in the next week or so, which will remove the annoying privacy button.

There were at least 3 in the first half of this season that were up there with it. I remember one in particular with a whole team move from deep in our own half on the right, all the way up to someone crossing in from the left for Fred to slot in - stunning stuff. How anyone could watch such scintillating football and then force out the manager who made it happen is beyond me.

I knew you’d remember. It stuck in my mind because our first that day was absolutely beautiful too, I think I texted Phil “That might be the best Wycombe goal I’ve ever seen” after both of them.

If we start Saturday with 5 at the back I might watch highlights from the first half of the season for 90 minutes instead. The movement off the ball, the free flowing one-touch passing, the telepathy across the whole team, it’s balletic.

I guess that’s a legacy from Matt Bloomfield’s desperately short managerial tenure that can never be taken from us. He gifted us beautiful football and the chance to dream.

I’m hoping Blooms keeps Luton up, goes to a likeable club within the next year or so, and then implements his style with even better players. I could live with enjoying someone like Ipswich tearing up the Champo from afar.

Hi All, as you may have noticed we have made some updates to the Gasroom design today:

  • We have created a Media category/page, the aim is to collate news and content related to Wycombe Wanderers in one place. You can also access this page via the bell icon at the top of the page
  • We sunsetted the separate Women’s category, content related to this team should be posted under the other categories already available

Looks ok on the desktop - not a fan on mobile as the preview pics dominate the display on a small screen. Unless there is a setting I have clicked by mistake - which is more than likely!
