Oxford sounds like they are on the edge of oblivion with an owner who is not willing to invest heavily every season (And why should they) and with low turnover and no assets they look doomed.
The new ground looks like it might not happen which means in less than two years they will be homeless and tapping us up for a rental, though I suspect we won’t need the money and they will go for the cheap option which is likely to be Northampton.

Sounds very alarming for Oxford if what he’s saying is broadly accurate.
I hope they work something out and come through with a new stadium and secure finances, but the sums involved are staggering.
Feels more likely they could end up doing a Wimbledon and grinding in non-league, playing miles away from Oxford in a groundshare at this rate.

Charlie Methers him of the pink chino brigade, is former Oxford and Sunderland owner Stuart Donald’s sidekick and advisor.
He is well connected in the football financial world, so if indicates the red flags are out. Expect those who do business with Oxford to insist on pre payment, and there will be clubs circling the carcaus, to get PNL players on the cheap.

We may well need the money if our owner decides he doesn’t want to keep on putting large sums of money into the club, when all he gets in return is fans moaning about everything he does.

2 years is a huge time in football.
I’d be very cautious about assumptions that our owners will still be interested and we won’t need money!

Quite simply, two years is too long - are too long if you insist but there’s a touch of the word “politics” there, always treated as a singular noun. Collective noun, I suppose.

Strangely the Fox address comes as Ibstone Rd High Wycombe, which is bizarre as you have to go through Stokey to get there, and are bordering Oxon.
Be subservient and don’t poke the bear.
I think our future depends more on his son’s footballing ability than a few old blokes carping online.
