Other football

Interviews on the pitch following big matches are pointless. No-one can hear and what are they supposed to say?

They had to ruin it with Alan Sm*th. Many congratulations to Eze and everyone connected with him and Crystal Palace, except that guy.

Did you not know it was on BBC too?

Who watches by choice on ITV?!?!

Actually quite emotional seeing Eze score the goal that wins Palace’s first ever trophy.

The FA Cup should only br watched on the BBC and at the end everyone should sing the National Anthem.

A bleak week for football

Turned on BBC first saw Wayne’s Rooney’s face and switched over. Will probably watch without sound on BBC in future to avoid the adverts and just switch off at half time!

Haha, very fair. No idea why they have him on as a pundit, he can barely string three words together.

Embarrassing scenes from Palace players and fans though, celebrating like they’d just won the FA Cup!

I had a dream last night that our away fixture to Home Park was moved to 1230 ko. Wouldn’t surprise me…

Funnier if Spurs lose or funnier if United lose tonight?

The Spurs joke is getting boring, can’t be cheering for Monaco Jim and the Glazers surely.

It shouldn’t be possible for both teams to lose a final, but if it could ever happen, these are the two teams to do it.

Hopefully both. They’d never have got to the final if eliminated UCL teams still dropped into the UEL.

In any case, neither coach is keeping their job beyond this season.

Being born in the mid-eighties I get the lure of Manchester United, even now that they’re down on their haunches. I’ve never understood Tottenham Hotspur and why so many grown men in the Home Counties wish to inflict them upon their children.

This could be a L1 game
