Now 8/1. Bloomfield moves to being the odds on favourite.
Perfectly put, no need to go over old ground.
A loyal servant to this club who will always bleed Wycombe light and dark blue. Here we were under Bloomfield a year ago.
Listen, it was enough of a struggle trying to hope that Luton wouldn’t get turned over every week, I absolutely refuse to wish good things on Bristol Rovers. Why can’t he manage a nice harmless club like Barnet or Cheltenham?
How sad. Steve Evans is only 7/2 so there’s still hope they go for him and Dodds is 6/1
Maybe we can give you Connor Taylor back to help with your season.
This is depressing but I suppose he has to get back in somehow. If they have enough quality to easily climb up the league then that will set him up nicely for a rebuild next season.
If it’s the Blooms of our swashbuckling ‘purple patch’ then they’ll fly. If it’s back to 3-5-2 and crabbing about at the back then God help us all, I don’t want to see it unfold. Horrible club to wish him well at.
I don’t think it’s a horrible club at all. Yes we have had our battles but I certainly don’t count Bristol Rovers along with horrible clubs like - Col U, MK, Oxford or Reading.
Good luck to them and if Bloomfield joins them, then I hope he is successful.
Game of opinions. I wouldn’t say Reading are a horrible club, they’re harmless. But every time a relegation issue has been resolved involving us and Rovers, some form of violence or crowd mutiny has ensued. And not instigated by us. Good luck to Blooms.
It’s hard to get worked up about Reading until we’re actually playing them. Beating them is delicious, but only because their fans are so delusional. Bristol Rovers are about as unpleasant as it gets.
His next move needs to be a banker of a success.
He is a club legend. Came to us as manager, was terrible then incredible but left to be terrible again.
If he does badly at his next club he will be a serial team loser with his only success coming in our famous purple patch. Another relegation on his CV and work offers may not come rolling in as frequently. Til Reading get relegated in a few months
He would actually have a shorter commute if he joined a club in nothern France, or Belgium, rather than Bristol.
Rovers are definitely one of the worst in current times.
Hooligan fans, Barton, thinking we cheated the weather that time.
I can only assume you weren’t there that night.
No-one who was there, who witnessed conditions go from still to the worst storm I’ve ever seen, with lightning on top would dream of saying it was cheating.
Deleted my post as not really a debate I want to get into. Let’s just say I’d have been livid if the shoe was on the other foot.
It was bad luck for them for sure, but their beef was with mother nature, not with us!
Not to mention trying to sue us when they got relegated.
Appalling club with a significant number of vile fans.
But you wouldn’t have acted like Bristol Rovers controlled the weather!
They tried to get us thrown out of the league with a points deduction, I seem to remember. Unforgivable.
Looking at the four favourites for the job. Can’t say I have a strong opinion about Brady. Of Bloomfield, Evans and Dodds, who would I choose to scrap me out of a relegation fight? May not be the nicest man but got to be Evans hasn’t it?
Weird day in football as Shrewsbury complain about tickets for their cup game at Wolves being too cheap and Exeter fans are mad their trip to Man City hasn’t been moved for tv.
Honestly sometimes we’re our own worst enemies.
