Wing and R. Williams vs Lonwijk and Kodua. Can almost make an attack-minded 5-a-side team of ex-Wanderers. I turned on for 5 minutes and the atmosphere was ‘diluted’ to say the least.
Something about fireworks and bedsheets
This is an excellent advert for euthanasia.
the sequel to Bedknobs and Broomsticks nobody wanted
Michael Duff makes an appearance on Sky during the Reading v Luton game. He looked a bit bored and was looking at his phone.
Decent game this, though I’ve only been watching for 25 mins and four goals
Nigel Lonwijk - the classiest player on the pitch.
Luton fans fighting each other after the game. Brilliant!
Sounds like Mike Dodds during a Wycombe game
“Happy birthday to Mr James Bedlington from Terriers who is 41 today.”
Oxford sack manager.
It’s the spirit of Christmas.
Hope they don’t come after Duff
There’s a bloke who recently managed a club in the same part of the country who has experience in the championship.
It’s time for Dodds.
Whilst obviously the lists that bookies put up are generally absolute garbage, one of the current favourites that I’ve seen is Liam Manning, who was originally poached from OUFC by Brizl City a while back, having only been with the club for a very limited amount of time.
Would be rather pleasing for them to take him back, only for him to then take them down. He is one of those purist tiki-taka managers which is exactly not what you want in a relegation dogfight. Along similar lines, I’d be happy if Russell Martin decided to give OUFC a shot.
Not sure what Oxford fans are so upset about. They’ll get to play Swindon next season. It’s what they live for.
But will they get to see the mighty Wycombe Wanderers?
They could get to play both Reading and Swindon next season. And us, of course. What a banner year that would be for Thames Valley Royals everywhere.
Matt Bloomfield knows how to get a team out of the Championship. Just saying…..
Rightly, no-one cares what club forum posters think, but the early popular options from OUFC punterdom are (at the time of writing) :
Michael Carrick
Michael Skubala
Gary O’Neil
