And yet again they sneaked a win despite being awful. Frustrating much!
Sad to see boos at Leeds when the game was halted for a couple of minutes to allow people to take on liquids as Ramadan fast ended for the day. So sad to see what our country has become
They should have just got one of the goalies to go down for treatment and they could have all had a drink with the intolerant none the wiser. The goalie would have got pelters on the forum though…
Should have invited one of the booing fans on to the pitch and then invited Khusanov to teach him a bit of respect.
A case of the shiite hitting the fan…
Luke O’Nien getting a premier league start, as captain and being MotM. Its a great thing to see.
Nice for Port Vale to have a good cup run in the midst of a miserable season.
Saw a clip of him at a corner with both arms round a player’s neck and flooring him…and got away with it. Amazing.
Probably spells the end of Sam Bell’s starts for Bristol then.
I saw a clip of some tremendous headloss from Brizzle City fans. Chants of “you’re not fit to wear the shirt” and lots of expletives aimed at the players. I get that they’re having their customary slide from the play-offs and remain a selling club, like many. But they’re not doing too badly in the grand scheme and upsets happen. Seemed a bit OTT to me.
Luton Town vs Stockport County at Wembley in the Final of the Vertu Cup next month is certainly something to look forward to. I do hope they spend enough time preparing for the big day.
hmmmm
Boo!
Not when 8th placed Wycombe progress to the Premier League with wins over Wrexham, Birmingham & Derby in May 2027.
Mid-season playoff will be the next gimmick, to sort out eligibility for promotion slots or a relegation battle.
I don’t know. I mean, obviously the only thing keeping us down at the moment is a grand conspiracy involving every referee and the other 91 football league clubs. But if you finish eight (or ninth in L2!) you shouldn’t get promoted.
Not sure i like it. But then was thinking 8th or 9th gets Europe now in the Premier so why not allow teams to have something to aim for further down. If it also incentives the team in 3rd, with an easier route, i can live with it.
Might as well just involve all 24 teams in the promotion play-offs. Maybe start from August with each team playing the others home and away, and awarding points for winning and drawing. At the end we can tell who the best three teams are and promote them.
It will never catch on of course.
Another ruse to give big money teams who find themselves failing in a lower league a route back up.
Not even looking at the ball. Very L2. Lucky VAR sorts that stuff out.
Ha ha. Yeah, like Declan Rice with both arms wrapped round à Chelsea player at à corner and lifts his shoulder just as the ball arrives and deflects it with his arm. VAR says no penalty for handball, half Nelson….play on. Joke.
