The only positive is that both West Ham AND Forest have to come past them. And that they play Forest at home in 2 games time.
I know a line is a line…but good goals being disallowed for a finger or a toe or part of a shoulder being slightly over still ruins football in my opinion.

Spurs fans were leaving in their droves at halftime. Not sure I have seen that before anywhere else.
Their cheapest season ticket price is £850 for an adult, but don’t worry as they’ve announced they’re freezing the prices for next year! Cheap Championship football!

Cheers for that. Citing the model used in the National league to back the argument for extending playoffs in Championship is bizarre. But ultimately I just don’t believe that à club finishing 8th should have a shot at promotion. The points gap between 3rd and 8th could be quite significant. We’ve learned to live with the playoffs, reluctantly for many I’d guess so this is just further reward for mediocrity over excellence for the sake of contrived entertainment. Injustice disguised as drama. I wouldn’t want us to be promoted for finishing 8th. How is that deserved? It just ain’t right.

True , which may lead to 8th place been closer to relegation than the champions. I agree, its not for me.

I’m against the abolition of replays in the FA Cup, but no one would complain if this Liverpool Wolves game went straight to penalties.
