It was very funny though. Admittedly because it was Chelsea
What is happening at Tottenham?"! Disastrous first half v Palace.
The only positive is that both West Ham AND Forest have to come past them. And that they play Forest at home in 2 games time.
I know a line is a line…but good goals being disallowed for a finger or a toe or part of a shoulder being slightly over still ruins football in my opinion.
Half the “fun” used to be giggling at getting away with a horrific call in your favour or utterly fuming at being “wronged”.
Spurs vs Lincoln next season will be a cracker.
Not as good as Spurs v Wycombe.
Not sure it is much of a positive, they’ve got the 19th worst home record in the league
Spurs fans were leaving in their droves at halftime. Not sure I have seen that before anywhere else.
Their cheapest season ticket price is £850 for an adult, but don’t worry as they’ve announced they’re freezing the prices for next year! Cheap Championship football!
Such a bunch of performative hams. It’s all for the TV and so embarrassing.
Absolutely. But then im guessing we were supporting our team before we had mobile phones, social media and whiny SKY/PL Manc/Scouse celebrity pundits were but a glint…
Yep these days you realise it was a disgusting decision within 5mins as someone will be filming it.
I rememberin the late 90s being told off by a steward for taking a photo at Highbury.
“No photos while the players are on the pitch”.
Bizarre to see how it’s changed.
This is so wrong and yet only a matter of time before L1 clubs vote for the same I reckon.
I doubt any Championship clubs consulted their fans so I wonder what view our MT would take and how transparent would they be?
Cheers for that. Citing the model used in the National league to back the argument for extending playoffs in Championship is bizarre. But ultimately I just don’t believe that à club finishing 8th should have a shot at promotion. The points gap between 3rd and 8th could be quite significant. We’ve learned to live with the playoffs, reluctantly for many I’d guess so this is just further reward for mediocrity over excellence for the sake of contrived entertainment. Injustice disguised as drama. I wouldn’t want us to be promoted for finishing 8th. How is that deserved? It just ain’t right.
True , which may lead to 8th place been closer to relegation than the champions. I agree, its not for me.
Unless it was Peterborough who finished third and we beat them, then it would be hilarious
Plus, right now in League 1 Reading in 8th. Now how just would that be??
I’m against the abolition of replays in the FA Cup, but no one would complain if this Liverpool Wolves game went straight to penalties.
