Or we can all read the Home Office report that recognises that rape and grooming is not exclusively a Muslim issue.

But then why would anyone bother to look at the facts

If its the lower end of the biblical text. Yes absolutely. If its the later end quite possibly.

Late teens was the normal time to have children, even 2000 years ago. But it wasn’t uncommon between 15 and 20.

You’ve posted this before. Yes I have read it. Yes it glosses over a large number of issues. Co-authored by The Guardian says it all, cover up for Labour councils.

So your just rewriting history to fit in with your position. I think historians may find your age brackets a bit different to their understanding. By the way, no ages are given in the biblical text.

I’d be interested to see your sources for that. I mean, the average age of conception over the last 250,000 years is apparently 26.9. Fathers were consistently older, at 30.7 years on average, whereas mothers were 23.2 years on average.

I’m interested to know why there was such an outlier 2027 years ago.

admittedly those figures have been plucked from one website and there are obviously more humans now then there was 250000 years ago which will skew figures. But child birth in early to mid teens is as dangerous to the mother today as it was 2000 years ago. We haven’t evolved (or unevolved I guess) that quickly my friend - although medical practises have.

Have a look through the report yourself if you like

No I haven’t posted it before but I’m sure someone else has. Ignore the Guardian angle if you wish and read the Home Office report

Fantastic thread this.

One last thought. Average age isn’t the age of their first conception. You only have to look back at any family tree to see that families often included 10 or more children. The above article is irrelevant in relation to first birth.

You can find any number of takedowns of that report. It’ll be interesting to see what the public inquiry turns up: although as several victims have refused to participate because thry were being more or less told what to say, I’m not holding my breath.

I would not believe anything that lefty Priti Patel says. She’s an Establishment Elite.

That’s from 2020. The conversation has moved on a lot since then.

It certainly has

It’s everything I hoped it would be and more.

And we haven’t even got to the Spanish Inquisition…yet.

Nobody expects the Spanish inquisition!

I’m struggling with this. Do you genuinely believe only Muslim men are responsible for grooming gangs?

If you do I won’t waste my time any more.

If you don’t, we go back to the very sage comment earlier in the thread that these crimes are committed by awful men doing awful things. Men who will inevitably hide behind self-justification in whatever form it takes.

Where have I said that?

This thread is a lot more ‘nudge nudge wink wink’ than an inquisition.
