The new contract offer for Norris is really odd, especially given MVS is contracted for next season. We surely can’t start next season with both of them and another new number one? Which then leads to the conclusion that Duff wants Norris to be #1 next season, which feels mad after the many howlers this year.

All the talk by Duff of players over the last few weeks playing for their future and literally nearly everyone’s under contract for next season anyway!
To show any ambition next season I feel a large number currently retained will need to have their contracts terminated.

Yep, this retained list was never going to make much odds as almost every player was signed or renewed in recent memory.
Norris confirmed out of contract but offering a new one seems the one surprise.

I think MVS will go out on loan to a League 2/National League club.

Probably some of the younger players (below 22) not already mentioned will be loaned out. Everyone not mentioned I think will stay.

Given that it’s been reported Fred turned down offer of a new contract is he now being offered a new new contract or was the report just a tad premature?
Gotta say if he ends up at Reading or Oxford I may struggle to see him in a good light.
