Rumour Mill

Says the man who clearly doesn’t practice his own medicine starting of with.accusing someone of “a lack of class” I can read the room. There are some who are excited about the future like myself . There are some who have reservations but never the less refrain from calling Dodds a clown and Rice a Weasel. There are some who constantly try and undermine everything the owners do . Finally there are some who simply can not move on . They are stuck and can’t see a positive future now the old Wycombe has gone .it’s as if they have just been divorced.Cards on the table . I actually do have some empathy for this last group.Problem is constantly reading the negativity from this group ( which also takes the form of constant criticism and negativity ) wear me down. I admit I could be more accommodating of their emotions and try and persuade them that the future is bright. I will try .

What coaching ability has Dodds shown to date?

Your response proves the point. Why does there always have to be daggers out for the man? I’m not going to argue it’s not necessary. We all start the season on zero points, so let’s just see what happens.

I’m more than happy to give him the benefit of the doubt. He’s a young coach - we had a few of them. Ainsworth/Bloomfield. Ainsworth 21 games without a win ? Went on to achieve more than any other manager.

It’s fair enough if you think the Gasroom has changed for the worst. The reason I reacted is when you went on to say you would watch less games .

Lets get back on topic ladies/gents.

Looks like Nathan Lowe is still available. Might be in for him who knows:

Nathan Lowe may want Stoke City exit - Bolton, Wycombe & Stockport should be on red alert

Children stopping arguing

That’s all I ask

I am entitled to watch less games if I’m not feeling the connection at present, many other factors also come in to that with kids football, work commitments, holidays and other sports I play meaning I will struggle to make 20 games (home and away) this season which I suspect is my lowest attendance since I first started attending regularly in the early 90’s.

I also think it’s a great shame our new owner has no interest in getting to know our club, it’s fans or the Wycombe community in general. It would be an amazing boost for everyone if he managed to get to just a few games this season, I personally would love to see him.

Of course you are . You can do what ever you like. I just think it’s a real shame you feel that way. In Reality our owners are Rice etc and they do attend games. I have never had expectations of a multi billionaire owner coming to High Wycombe . He may well do one day but it really doesn’t bother me that he hasn’t .Rob Couhig did many times but only when he had his heart in it and it meant something to him. He then eased off on that front . Unfortunately ( or fortunately depending on your views) it’s hard enough to stay afloat and competitive at this level being the old Wycombe and it will be even harder now in the Championship . Times have changed . Personally I am embracing the journey and would far rather be watching a relegated Everton at Wycombe than a promoted Salford .

I can’t see Everton getting relegated any time soon as their new owner is richer than Lommy.

We bought them for the Championship. Not quite fit enough yet.

Fully agree, I want to leave but know I will be pulled back for the chat so pointless, haven’t quite worked out how to mute certain posters. Pretty sure i’ve been muted by a few.

Would agree for last season but from what i’ve seen in pre season can see that he brought in his style and would say it’s very similar to Bloomfields.

I literally got banned from Gasroom 2.0 only a few weeks before it got shut down. My crime? For disagreeing with the usual crowd of suspects. Not once did I use any swear words. Not once was I in any way aggressive at all. But the pro Bloomfield suspects didn’t like a different perspective and rounded up together and banned me.

Just for the fact that you are allowing different opinions on here makes Gasroom 3.0 so much better.

Even if I’ve had to mute some of those usual suspects who use swearing and passive aggressiveness against those that don’t agree with them.

Football is at the end of the day a matter of opinion.

If you don’t like what someone says because it riles you up so much, you don’t have to reply with aggressive responses.

Now he does class as being “hounded out”.

He took loads of grief on here for years and the only surprise was that he could be bothered with being there to be shot at for so long.

Not sure who you were posting as then, but the end of the gasroom 2 was a particular low spot.
The doc was being particularly aggressive to people, so it’s probably a good thing he’s taken the time to cool down off site for a while and maybe comes back refreshed in time.

Tbf Bloomfield’s is not unique .

100% spot on

What kind of Wycombe fan would say this?

And what was the Gasroom 1.0 phrase about vermin?
