many fans have slated the clubs signings over the last 12 months however are they really that bad ? I personally think we are now seeing that the data does work!

imo many more hits than misses , lets trust the transfer strategy and hopefully Duff can further improve and get Morley, Humphries through the door in this window!
as you say , he is tall and has improved in the air (guidance from Duff i am sure ) he is good with the ball (ask BR fans) he is just low on confidence, once this improves i am sure we will see this)
What is the average for signings to be a hit anyway. Not every signing works out, for various reasons. Weâve made some poor transfers in most windows.
Woodrow splits the fanbase but on balance heâs been a âhitâ for me. Huggins I agree hasnât shown much (injuries, etc) but may well be a hit if he successfully covers for Grimmer in his absence.
Surely itâs a fundamental attribute of any self respecting professional footballer to be âgood with the ballâ. In what particular respect do you think Connor Taylor has displayed shortcomings (whilst with us but not with Bristol Rovers) when in possession of the ball?
based on his time at BR he was very good with the ball, granted not shown it here but personally with time think it will come, he also needs to work on upper body strength, if I was him, would start working out with Casey!
So, in short, you are confident that Connor Taylor has the potential to become an automatic choice for inclusion in the starting eleven. He certainly has age on his side and there can be few better mentors than someone who spent the entirety of his playing career as a very accomplished central defender.
Good to hear you being both positive and constructive.
I (was) a secret Connor Taylor fan. I would love him to succeed. My secret is now public.
Huggins still an unknown, but his last two performances were great and heâll be stepping into Grimmerâs shoes now I imagine depending on whether Duff wants to change shape or not.
Huggins and Taylor, and I suspect the likes of Tilley are others as well would have been developing under Duffâs management in training each and every week. Yes Connor has had some howlers, but I donât think many of our squad escape from that tag this season.
Woodrow has been great. Itâs the small things he does that probably donât get noticed. His final contribution to the game yesterday where he took the ball after we were under pressure, move beyond the halfway line, and smacked it against a Wimbledon player to win the throw. I think his contributions, outside of his four goals and 1 assist are underrated by some here.
With regards to Berry, well, I guess the data doesnât cover attitude. I remember Taffâs video on our new training ground building and Berry was in it for 30 seconds. He had a face like a slapped bottom.
Odd that someone described Taylor as âlike a newly born giraffeâ and frankly Iâm not sure he was wrong. Funny how revisionist things get after a morale boosting home win huh?
He always looked like he was in the middle of shitting himself, heâs the worlds most nervous man. He played well yesterday but that hasnât really changed my opinion
While I think Connor Taylor could become good in the future, on the current form of those defenders in possession of starting places (Anders, Casey & Allen), he has a very long way to go. If one of them get suspended and/or injured, he HAS to take that opportunity. Otherwise, heâll just be given a title of âHe might have potential if he shows itâ
