I really hope we aren’t pinning our hopes on Fred being our striker next season becaise he isn’t one. He has been used as a winger, wing-back & right back. The common theme of those positions, he plays well on the wing! Why would we use him up front when he has bearly played there, doesn’t have the stature to be a striker or the knowledge or positional play??? He had a great season for us last season but trying to rewrite his position at this point of his career seems stupid!

I sincerely hope we will be strengthening our squad further, especially if we do want to challenge at the top.
However, maybe ML feels he has put enough money into the first team squad and he now wants to see more of the academy lads integrated into the team this season.
We will sign more players. Not sure when, but i would expext more than one less than 10.

I reckon those Swiss going deep in the cup has delayed things but before you know it, Duff will be playing Fink’s mates.

If it helps when I spoke to him at the Sponsors dinner he had no regrets at all about joining us

Definitely need to give Fink another go this season. But we need more attacking options that’s clear.

Fink may come good this season but the strong likelyhood is he may also not. Fred is not a striker . We need a striker.

Dastan Satpayev has left Kazakhstan and joined Chelsea. We must be a good choice for any loan move. If he does join us I will call him Dastan Satnav because I am funny.
