When I think of the Bloomfield era, Joe Low will be one of the defining players.

big loss but shows either a lack of ambition going to a team in same league or champ teams do not think he is good enough…a shame that showed little loyalty to the club

Fine player - very sorry to see him go.

When I first saw him two seasons ago I remember saying that he’ll be our next million pound player. And whilst it most likely won’t be the case, he was an absolute colossus at the back. We’ve been blessed with more than our fair share of brilliant centre backs at this club and he is up there with the most talented in my opinion.

Good luck Joe. You’ll have a great career and I’m hoping you’ll get a great reception when you’re back at AP next season. I hope that most fans will understand as to the reasons you’ve felt it best to move on.

On another note I wonder if the reason he hasn’t been able to command a move to a Champ team is the uncertainty around his overall cost. With the fee having to be decided by a tribunal, which may take a while, I wouldn’t be surprised if the lack of ability for clubs to properly be able to budget for his transfer may have put a few teams off?!

Sad to see him leave, wish him all the best for the future. Colossus on his day and shame that we’ve not been able to retain another young, talented player once again.

If we’ve really not been able to retain any of the three excellent central defenders that doesn’t bode well. I’m sure we’ll bring in others but will be going some to beat these.

I think it’s fair to say that we’ll keep the ‘HMS Pissing the League’ meme on ice for the time being after the first window!

Why show any loyalty to Wycombe right now if you are a player? The club has telegraphed that you could give your entire adult life to the club, only to be thrown under the bus and have many fans turn on you as well. Don’t think players are oblivious to this, let alone the fact they are only ever one bad performance away from “proper fans” wanting them shipped out the door like a cheap disposable mobile phone from Amazon.

Luckily there are no fans on the Gasroom who
constantly turn on and belittle the contribution of past and even present players and managers. Good luck to Joe, except when they play us.
(It is possibly more exciting to join a ‘big’ club like Huddersfield who might have a chance of promotion than staying with a team if the coach does not rate you)

The Top Trumps style ‘who’s best’ discussion on Taylor, Low and Bradley is pretty irrelevant.

They’re all great players to have in League One and none of them are Wycombe players anymore.

Maybe Low thought he had no chance against the unstoppable ascent of Anders?

Who needs Bradley, Taylor and Low when you have HagelskjĂŚr, Hartridge and Tafazolli on your books?

Loved watching Taf’s videos in HK. Reminds me of when I go on holiday and start speaking broken English when he speaks to the players on the pitch

Gonna get slaughtered for this.

But perhaps the rose tinted glasses need to come off when reality bites.

Joe Low - very good. On his day, fantastic. Has a few goals in him as well if he gets the luck of the green.

But prone to making at least 1 serious mistake every game trying to play out from the back.

If he was good enough for Championship clubs, they would all be clambering for him. Didn’t happen though did it. Says a lot. Maybe the rose tinted glasses need to come off and understand that League 1 is his level (until he gets rid of thos constant errors from his game).

I wish him all the best and hope he does well and pushes on, but for now I (like other higher level clubs) just don’t see he’s at their level (yet).

You might be right that he’s not Championship ready. Slightly irrelevant though given we have let a very good League One player join a League One rival whilst trying to build a team that can get out of League One.

Why do i feel like our recruitment will be as strong and stable as Januarys…
