Kane had two things going against him in that decision:
- He has won penalties for us before by falling over.
- In the action of being fouled he put both feet together while he was going over like he was Tom Daley performing the perfect water entry after a double back flip with 2 and a half twists.
I’m not saying he dived, I think he was brought down, but I can absolutely see what the ref thought he made the most of it.

BBC2 will be showing a full, no spoilers, re-run of the Mexico game starting at 07:10 Monday morning.
I think that’s definitely made up my mind of what I’m doing.
In order for that to work, the BBC need to disable the phone notifications & not mention it on their News / Morning programmes until 8am so people rewatching it, don’t get it spoiled

I was going to stay up with a four pack of Hawkstone lager and some Mexican beef tacos, but now I can get a proper night’s sleep.
There’s rumours going around the WADA have ok’d the use of viagra for the players. At least they are going to be up for the game. Hard to run though.

England’s World Cup last-16 tie with Mexico could be moved to earlier on Sunday because of the threat of storms.
Fifa is considering bringing forward the game at Azteca, Mexico City, which is due to kick off at 01:00 BST on Monday.
Forecasts suggest there could be thunderstorms and heavy rain around this time.
One suggestion is the game could be brought forward six hours to 19:00 BST on Sunday.
However no final decision has been made and it is possible that original kick-off time remains.

So glad I didn’t book those extortionately priced airline tickets to Mexico which don’t arrive until 4hrs before kick off!
Now that would make some things a lot easier.
Whilst meaning loads of places have to scrap plans!
Emergency legislation passed to allow pubs to stay open until 5am 
(although this possibility has been known for a long time).
Police complain they’ll have to pull staff for other tasks if pubs stay open until 5am (don’t they always have to juggling their staff).
Everyone starts to determine early bedtime & watch live / watch on catch up / how to throw a sickie strategy (like the boss won’t be doing likewise).
… Then someone at FIFA decides to change the plans.
Better nip down Tesco for some burgers as I feel a BBQ in order for Sunday now!
